GharAid is a humanitarian initiative by Aid Global Foundation committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for homeless individuals and orphaned children across Bhiwandi, Thane, Mumbai, and other parts of Maharashtra.

Our mission is to give a second chance to those living in helpless conditions -whether abandoned on the streets, suffering from mental illness, disabled, elderly, or orphaned. We provide safe shelter, medical care, emotional healing, and the dignity they deserve.

Rescue Across Maharashtra

GharAid teams operate across:

Railway stations, footpaths, bus stops
Underpasses, bridges, public hospitals
Abandoned buildings & unsafe zones
Slums and disaster-hit areas

Our rescue coverage includes:

Bhiwandi (core focus), Thane District, Mumbai City and Suburbs, and other parts of Maharashtra.

We collaborate with:

Local citizens
Police, civic officials, and childline
Hospitals and transport staff
Volunteers and social workers

Our team brings people from dangerous, unhealthy street environments into a safe space of care.

Permanent Shelter Home In Bhiwandi

While rescue operations are conducted throughout Maharashtra, we are building a permanent shelter home in Bhiwandi to care for all rescued individuals.

Doctor Visits & Mobile Health Vans
Psychiatric Support & Counseling
Detox & Recovery Pathways
Emotional Healing via Therapy & Group Care

Orphaned & Abandoned Child Support

Children rescued from neglect, abuse, or street life are given:

Immediate shelter and emergency care
Nutrition, education, and emotional healing
Admission to nearby schools
Recreational and play-based learning
Legal support for adoption/foster placement (via CWC norms)

Reintegration & Livelihood Support

We dont stop at rescue -we rebuild lives.

We support:

Family reunification (if safe and possible) Vocational training for adults and older youth Identity document recovery (Aadhaar, health card, etc.) Life skills training and emotional resilience Connecting to small job opportunities or home-based work Our goal: from rescued to restored.
